No good service

Magical location and excellent seafood ... highly recommended.

From someone who has lived in Italy for six years. Food, service and ambience all excellent. Worth the price - especially considering everywhere in portofino is expensive.

Lovely location but quite expensive,staff were very nice.Could you put a price on that view?

Excellent in every way for a delicious casual dinner of local seafood. Fritto mista and spaghetti fruita Del mare were amazing.

It started to rain while we were in Portofino and we ducked in here. Turned out to be a great choice. We had a nice and dry table outside overlooking the harbor. Food was quite good and we loved the white wine from their own vineyard. I had pasta with basil pesto and my wife said her linguine and clams were the best ever

Crowded and pricey. Food OK. Drinks expensive.

Nice food, decent service but skip the €5 cappuccino. It was a basic cappuccino, no special size or milk required, so just because it’s Portofino ... for that matter, bottled water was a “robbery” too. I won’t even mention the “coperto” cover charge ....

Amazing pesto and a friendly staff. Strongly recommend. The location allows for a beautiful view aswell!

Walk away - refuses you because you have kids kids! ...and this despite that only 1 table on the 20 was taken... 'come back in 3h' he said... And don't write back saying all the tables were booked, they were no signs on the table and the table were spread across the restaurant, not the way it would be if someone would have réservés them all...

Very nice restaurant on harbor. Food was very good, but very similar menu to most of the restaurants in Portofino.

Great service, great view. It's a bit more expensive. But it looked that everything around there is.

Ristorante sulla Calata Marconi. Pesce molto buono, ben cucinato e ben abbinato alle spezie. Molto buone le crudite di mare (anche componibili a piacimento), ottimo lo spaghetto al gambero viola di Santa Margherita ligure e buona l’orata al sale con patate. Ottimo il rapporto qualità/prezzo tenendo conto della location.

Food and service were OK. The bill a bit pricey but considering that we were in Portofino acceptable. Bottom line: fine but not a place where I want to return.

Nice restaurant. The Brother's that run it are 8th generation. Great atmosphere, great food sit back and enjoy Lunch, Dinner prices are ok given it's Portofino just enjoy the view..

Excellent views, great terrace, food was good, service was quick, would have given it 5 stars if it wasn't for the €8 coperto charge (for bread, silverware and plates) and the fact that we ordered 2 glasses of wine, instead of a bottle (€28) but we weren't informed that a glass was priced at €7. We would have ordered the bottle instead! ;)

Great food and location by the water

Food is excellent, especially Lasagnette with Pesto and Scampi alla Portofino. Matteo and Paolo are genuinely friendly and you perceive how hard they work to keep the standards so high. This is by far my favourite restaurant in Portofino and in Liguria.

Food was adequate and the service wasn't terrible. But there is nothing special about this place. Besides to charge 8 Euros for bred that we have not ordered is plain stealing.

We enjoyed delicious food but it was very very crowded....

Delicious catch-of-the-day fish that melted in the mouth! Being in Portofino prices are above average in the region but I was very satisfied with the quality of food and service.

Food was good, service was great and atmosphere was great.

The food is okay but nothing special and the manger of the restaurant was very arrogant !! The service was so deplorable ! I do not recommend.

We had the pesto lasagna and the grandmas spaghetti. Both had freshly made pasta and the sauces were delicious. Great views of the harbour to accompany the food as well.

One word.Portofino.

Seafood was fresh and good selection of seafood in the spaghetti Di mare. Had a light taste of olive oil and fresh cherry tomatoes. Frito misto (fried seafood) was also fresh although slightly salty. The prices of the individual dishes were reasonable although the restaurant had a cover charge of €4 pp which I felt was pretty steep.

The grandmother's recipe pasta is fantastic! Very nice staff and a good selection of vino.
